Mariel Gutierrez is the founder and principal architect of marielgutierrez. With over 15 years of experience spanning multiple continents, Mariel’s journey has shaped her unique approach to design, one that prioritizes simplicity, functionality, and people-centered solutions.
Holding a Master’s degree in BIM Management and serving as a DGNB consultant, Mariel brings together her architectural expertise and in-depth knowledge of BIM technology to create spaces that are both visionary and highly functional.
Her story begins in Buenos Aires, where she learned that simplicity isn’t just practical—it’s powerful. This foundation led her to Spain, where she refined her aesthetic sensibility and saw firsthand how design can spark connection and evoke emotion. Her path then took her to Germany, where precision and functionality are core to her work, and where she fully embraced the transformative power of BIM.
Known for her resourcefulness, solution-oriented mindset, and compassionate leadership, Mariel has built a studio grounded in trust, creativity, and collaboration. She thrives on turning complex challenges into elegant solutions, working closely with clients to bring their visions to life in meaningful and impactful ways.
